Our head chef and owner Siller Armin celebrate a refined, regional kitchen with impulses of the mediterranean kitchen. A blend of south Tyrolean traditional and modern Italian kitchen. Beside he uses only fresh products depending of the season and predominant regional products from the near surroundings, from regional farmers and producers.  

During the warm season he uses fresh herbs from the own garden. On our menu you will find seasonal balanced, domestic meat, such as beef, suckling pig, fawn, and lamp but even deer, chamois, stag and Capricorn from the near hunting grounds.

In addition some elected cheese and bacon. As combination with it, to fuse the traditional with the Mediterranean, you will find also dishes, made from the deceases fresh and salt water fishes or rather shellfish, refined with Mediterranean elements.

And you can enjoy our home made bread and grissini.

Thymian

After the apprenticeship with completion of the “Emma Hellenstainer” in Bressanone he collected diverse years of professional experience in excellent business in south Tyrol and some internship abroad at well-known chefs.

Furthermore he has been an effective attendant on different Cook- Competitions and from 1998 to 2001 a member off the effective south Tyrolean Regional Team with single- and team gold on the WM 1999 in Basel, bronze medal on the Cook- Olympiad 2000 in Ehrfuhrt and on the World cup1998 in Luxembourg. Since the opening on December 2002, he carries together with his wife, the restaurant arbor in Vipiteno
